Shanghai Yanfeng Johnson Controls Seating Company was founded in Dec 1997, jointly invested by Shanghai Yanfeng Visteon and Johnson Controls. Targeting to pursue a sustainable development and positioning with a globalization strategy, company was successfully ranked No.43 among the top 500 Shanghai Industrial Corporation in 2005, sales exceeding RMB5.926 billion with export USD132 million in 2007.
Besides the facilities in Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenyang, Yancheng and Yantai, YFJC has already set up five additional JVs in Chongqing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Nantong, Wuhu and Hefei, and would be further expanded to Yizheng, Fuzhou, Liuzhou etc. What’s more, SYFJC has put increasing attention to the global market by enhancing the export business to Japan, North America and Europe. With nearly 300 engineer and technicians, the technical center has the top level automotive seating design and testing capability domestically, which is the core competition of YFJC.
As one of the leading automotive seating and overhead system manufacturer, YFJC owns strong ER&D capability, solid product platform and portfolio regarding the seat assembly, mechanisms, foam, trim cover, PIP headrest and various overhead products. Superior to other rivals, YFJC hence enjoyed high reputation and became the first option to all of the OEMs in the new business awarding.

1997年12月，延锋伟世通汽车饰件系统有限公司和美国江森自控国际有限公司共同投资，成立了上海延锋江森座椅有限公司（以下简称延锋江森）。从成立之初，延锋江森就主动以全球化战略定位公司的经营方略，按全球化要求推进持续化发展。2005年，公司位列上海工业企业500强第43位。2007年公司实现销售59.26亿元，出口1.32亿美元。
除在上海、南京、沈阳、盐城和烟台建立工厂或分公司外，延锋江森还在广州、武汉、重庆、南通、上海、芜湖、合肥等地建立多家合资子公司，并逐步将业务拓展至仪征、福州、柳州等地。同时，延锋江森还将眼光放在了广阔的国际市场，产品远销日本、北美、欧洲。拥有将近300人的技术中心，具有国内最为领先的汽车座椅设计和测试能力, 是整个延锋江森的核心竞争力所在。
